Bring Me a Shrubbery!

Deep within the gloomy region of Zangarmarsh a peaceful race of mushroom-men, called Sporeggars, live vibrantly. Native to Outland, these loving creatures dwell in mushroom huts in the southwestern edge of Zangermarsh.

It is that these creatures were derived
from the all knowing
Les Schtoumpfs,
which in French means, "The Smurfs."

Starting out as Unfriendly, you can quickly gain exalted through a series of quests and turn-ins.
Once you are Friendly with this
shroom-loving tribe, you will be given another quest, "Bring Me A Shrubbery!" You will then be given a repeatable quest called "Bring Me Another Shrubbery!"

Anyone who as seen
Monty Python and the Search for the Holy Grail, should know the humor in the title of this quest.

In the movie, there are a band of knights that are feared by all for the manner in which they utter the word "
ni." For "Those who hear them seldom live to tell the tale!"

The Knights Who Say Ni, are led by a man who is twelve feet tall, stubby arms, and tree branches protruding from his helmet. The other knights are of average human dimensions and act as a chorus, repeating words and phrases which the head Knight has spoken.

"Ni" is only the most notable of the feared words which the knights are assigned to protect, the others being "
Peng" and "Ni-wom." All are infamous for the palpable horror and fear they bring about.

The Knights demand that King Arthur bring them a shrubbery in order to pass through the wooded area in which they guard. When he returns to the knights, who now call them selves
The Knights of Ekke, Ekke, Ekke, Ekke, Ptang, Zoo boing! he presents the shrubbery that he was demanded to bring forth. The Knights demand that he bring them another Shrubbery, arrange the shrubberies so that they get a two-level effect ("...with a little path running down the middle.") , and then proceed to "...cut down the mightiest tree in the forest with a herring!"

This is by far my favorite Easter Egg in the game.

Ni ..... Peng ..... Ni-Wom

Ventrilo Setup Guide

Ventrilo Setup Guide

Download & Install

There are several released versions. For Windows users, download the Windows i386 - 32bit version at the top of the list

  • Run the Ventrilo installation wizard
  • Start Ventrilo

Setup Username

  • Click on the black arrow located to the right of the User Name menu.

                        • Click on the New button

  • Enter your desired user name and click OK

Each user name creates it's own set of options. So, basically your user name is a profile. This means that each user name has it's own list of servers, it's own bindings, and Ventrilo setup options.

Phonetic: Used for entering a phonetic pronunciation of your login name. Whenever you log on to a server, switch a channel, or leave the server entirely, this will be played. This input is optional and if you leave it blank, then the program will use your user name for all TTS events.

Description:
Each user definition can have a description associated with it. This description will be displayed along side the user name on the main window. Very useful when you have duplicate user names and you want to distinguish between the multiple profiles of the same name.

Work Dir: This is an obsolete option that will be removed from the program in a later version. So leave it blank.

                          • Click OK

Don't be a jackass and create an annoying
phonetic
comment. By annoying I mean phrases such as "llllmmmmnoonnnnoooojavajavawhooooopielama"

It is best to use your Main Character's name as your user name to eliminate any confusion for other players

Setup Server

  • Click on the arrow to the left of Server:

  • Click on the New button

  • Type in a name for the server and press OK. It does not matter what you call it. If it is your guild vent server, then it is best to type in the name of your guild
